Position Summary
Vitality Finance is seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Account Manager to generate new business, build vendor and customer relationships, and guide financing opportunities from initial outreach through funding. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in equipment finance and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-oriented sales environment.
The Account Manager serves as a front-line revenue producer for the company. This person is expected to prospect consistently, uncover financing opportunities, structure practical solutions, and deliver a 5-star service experience to business owners and equipment vendors nationwide while operating with a high level of independence and accountability in a remote/offsite environment. Success in this role requires a blend of outbound sales discipline, consultative communication, organizational strength, persistence, and strong self-management.

Core Responsibilities
1. Outbound Prospecting & Business Development
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, text outreach, and other approved communication channels.
- Identify and engage equipment vendors, dealers, referral partners, and business owners who may benefit from financing solutions.
- Develop a consistent pipeline of new opportunities by following daily activity expectations and maintaining disciplined follow-up.
- Qualify prospects based on financing need, equipment type, time in business, credit profile, urgency, and overall fit.
2. Account & Vendor Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, vendors, and referral sources to drive repeat and referral business.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact by communicating clearly, setting expectations, and providing responsive service throughout the sales cycle.
- Support vendor partners with financing options, program knowledge, application support, and deal-status updates.
- Create a professional, relationship-focused experience that strengthens the Vitality Finance brand in the market.
3. Deal Structuring & Sales Execution
- Gather applications, invoices, equipment quotes, bank statements, and other information needed to evaluate and package opportunities.
- Assess each prospect’s objectives and present financing solutions that align with the customer’s needs and available lender programs.
- Explain terms, payment structures, down payment scenarios, and approval conditions in a confident and easy-to-understand manner.
- Work objections, negotiate effectively, and move transactions forward with urgency while preserving a high level of professionalism.
4. Pipeline Management, CRM Discipline & Follow-Up
- Maintain accurate notes, tasks, contact records, pipeline stages, and deal updates within the company CRM.
- Track every opportunity from initial outreach through submission, approval, documentation, and funding.
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads, outstanding items, quote requests, approvals, stipulations, and customer questions.
- Keep activity organized so that no viable opportunity is lost due to poor follow-up or incomplete recordkeeping.
5. Coordination with Credit, Operations & Funding
- Submit complete and well-organized deal packages to internal credit and operations teams.
- Collaborate with underwriting and operations personnel to resolve stipulations, documentation issues, and funding conditions.
- Communicate approval terms, counteroffers, and documentation requirements accurately and promptly to customers and partners.
- Help facilitate a smooth closing process from approved deal through funded transaction.
6. Customer Experience, Retention & Account Growth
- Deliver a 5-star customer experience by being responsive, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented throughout each interaction.
- Maintain relationships after funding to support future equipment purchases, refinance opportunities, and additional working capital needs.
- Look for opportunities to deepen relationships and expand account value over time.
- Represent the company with consistency, credibility, and professionalism in every stage of the customer journey.
7. Compliance, Accuracy & Professional Standards
- Ensure that deal files, communications, and submitted information are accurate, complete, and aligned with company policy.
- Maintain professionalism in all outreach, proposals, follow-up, and documentation handling.
- Protect confidential information and follow company expectations related to compliance, documentation accuracy, and ethical conduct.
- Participate in coaching, reporting, and performance reviews with a growth-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the equipment finance industry is required.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up habits and attention to detail.
- Competitive, goal-driven, and motivated by performance-based compensation.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and managing a high-volume activity environment.
- Able to work effectively in a remote/offsite environment with strong self-management, responsiveness, and accountability.
- Must maintain a professional home-office setup, reliable high-speed internet, and the ability to manage calls, follow-up, and CRM activity throughout the workday.
- Must have good personal credit.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial lending, vendor finance, or consultative B2B sales is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management best practices.
- Comfort working with deal documentation, pricing scenarios, and transaction coordination.
- Confidence speaking with business owners, equipment sellers, and referral partners in a consultative sales setting.
Compensation & Career Path
- Base salary plus commission, with commission earned on every funded transaction.
- Optional commission-only path offering up to 45% of gross margin once consistent production is achieved.
- Expected earnings: Year 1 - $70,000 to $100,000; Year 2 - $100,000 to $150,000; Year 3+ - $150,000 to $350,000+.
- Top producers have the potential to earn $350,000 to $750,000.
